Dermal Fillers

Have you noticed your face losing the firm, supple quality it once had, resulting in wrinkles and crease? As we age, our facial tissues lose subcutaneous fat, which results in loss of volume and firmness. Are you looking for an instant solution to lift and contour the cheeks, plump lips, or reduce the appearance of lines and creases? At Mojo Health, our Metro Atlanta dermal filler injection treatments provide a non-invasive solution that plumps, smooths, and lifts to soften wrinkles and fill contours. Schedule a consultation with our Aesthetic Nurse Injectors to learn about how we can recreate that youthful volume in the face and achieve the younger, refreshed look you’ve been searching for.

What are Dermal Fillers?

Facial fillers are a great non-invasive way to dramatically improve various signs of aging. These specially formulated dermal fillers are designed to replace the volume that your skin loses over time in order to correct common conditions such as:

  • Lines and wrinkles

  • Nasolabial folds

  • Marionette lines

  • Loss of facial volume

  • Thinning lips

Most facial filler treatments can be completed in as little as twenty minutes to an hour, depending on your unique goals and the current condition of your skin. There is no anesthesia needed for this procedure, and, given the nature of fillers, you will be able to see immediate results with each syringe. Once your filler treatment is complete, you will be able to get right back to your day with little to no downtime.

There are several different types of fillers available: some are composed of naturally-occurring substances, such as hyaluronic acid, (which we offer) and others are made with synthetic gels, such as calcium hydroxylapatite (which we do not offer). Each filler may also address a different concern or area of the face. During your consultation, we will carefully observe the condition of your skin and listen to your goals in order to recommend the best facial filler for you. Some patients may also benefit from combining fillers with other minimally-invasive facial treatments, such as Botox® or laser rejuvenation.

  • Dermal fillers are injectable substances that are used to add volume to the face, smooth out wrinkles, and restore lost facial contours. They are made from a variety of materials, including hyaluronic acid, collagen, and fat.

  • The duration of dermal fillers varies depending on the type of filler and the area of the face where it is injected. In general, dermal fillers can last anywhere from six months to two years.

  • The most common risks and side effects of dermal fillers are redness, swelling, bruising, itching, and tenderness. These side effects are usually mild and resolve within a few days. More serious side effects, such as infection, allergic reaction, and filler migration, are rare.
