What is Erectile Dysfunction?

Erectile dysfunction (ED), also known as impotence, is the inability to get or keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse. It is a common problem, affecting up to 1 in 10 men. ED can be a frustrating and embarrassing problem, but it is important to remember that it is a treatable condition. There are a number of medications and treatments available that can help men with ED regain their ability to have erections.

Types of ED Treatments at Mojo Health

Oral Medications

Indeed, the most sought after medications for ED are sildenafil and tadalafil. You have seen these offerings on TV commercials, online, and in magazines. Your provider at Mojo Vitality can offer a way to get these to you in a cost effective, convenient manner. Arrangements can be made for shipments to your house or other means of pickup. Patients can decide which is the most discrete or convenient for their care. These oral medications tend to be tried first among ED treatment options but do not work for everyone.

Penile Injections

This is much more potent than oral medications and has been around since the 90’s. Your provider at Mojo Vitality has decades of experience with these medications and will educate you on self-administering. Once the patient is confident, typically the medicine is shipped to your house with supplies. Don’t be fooled by ads drawing you in for instant results costing you thousands of dollars. The medications comes in different concentrations and typically referred to as Tri-Mix or Quad-Mix.

Tri-Mix is a combination of three active ingredients: alprostadil, phentolamine, and papaverine. These are all considered vasodilators and work by increasing the diameter of blood vessels and allowing more blood flow to the penis. TriMix is typically dispensed in a vial with syringes to give yourself the injections into a specific area of the penis. Tri-Mix is fast-acting and can result in an erection within five to ten minutes.

Shockwave Therapy

This technology is unique as an in office painless procedure that will improve penile blood flow and erections. Mojo Vitality has a certified trained provider with SoftWave technology which is on the leading edge of shockwave therapy to improve men’s erections.

Utilizing high-frequency, low-intensity sound waves, SoftWave improves blood flow, removes micro-plaque, and stimulates new blood vessel growth. Results can be seen in 6 to 12 sessions each taking between 15 to 20 minutes. For more information, please see the video below.

Other Medication

There are other oral, sublingual or longes or subcutaneous injections that can improve arousal and erections that are hardly sought after, or the public is unaware of. Let your provider at Mojo Vitality educate you on these if traditional offerings don’t meet your needs. These can be a direct shipment to you house.
